Key Responsibilities:

• Offer academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Provide individualized or small-group assistance as directed by educators and support staff
• Help students with classroom routines, transitions, and engagement
• Implement behavior plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) when necessary
• Support student mobility, supervision, and address personal care needs as required
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test (according to district requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting tasks as needed
• Possess or be willing to complete current background clearances before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work or volunteer experience in schools, special education, childcare, or behavioral health
• Familiarity with supporting children with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training/experience is a plus though not required
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative approach to teamwork
