Per Diem Classroom Assistant | Rocklin, California

What Youll Do:

• Work alongside teachers to assist students individually or in small groups.
• Support students everyday routines, including transitions and classroom activities.
• Follow established behavior support plans and individual education programs (IEPs).
• Help supervise students and provide personal care or mobility assistance when needed.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and encouraging classroom environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum age: 18.
• Must meet district TB testing and background clearance requirementscurrent or able to obtain.
• Physical ability to assist with walking, standing, and occasional lifting.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care is highly valued.
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs or behavioral challenges.
• Training such as CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus, but not essential.
• Reliability, patience, and a collaborative approach are key to success.
