Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small-group academic support under teacher direction
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and active participation in class activities
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as applicable
• Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care needs ensuring safety
• Foster a respectful, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Up-to-date TB test and required clearances prior to starting the role

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school settings, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training in CPI, PMT, or RBT certifications considered a plus though not mandatory
• Patient, reliable, and able to collaborate effectively within a team
