Per Diem Instructional Aide - Rochester, MI

Instructional Aide substitutes are needed for flexible, per diem opportunities providing essential support to students in school settings near Rochester, MI. Key Responsibilities:

• Offer academic, social, and behavioral support to students in classroom environments
• Deliver one-on-one and small group assistance as directed by teachers and school staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement individual behavior support plans and follow IEPs where applicable
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as required
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• TB test as required by individual districts
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting if needed
• Willingness to obtain or maintain all necessary school clearances before starting

Preferred Background:

• Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus (not mandatory)
• Patient, dependable, and collaborative approach
