Key Responsibilities:

• Offer academic, behavioral, and social support to students in the classroom
• Provide focused assistance 1:1 or in small groups, following teachers direction
• Help students with daily routines, transitions between activities, and engaging in classroom participation
• Carry out behavior support strategies and follow IEPs as required
• Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as needed
• Uphold a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• TB test compliance per district mandates
• Able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting tasks as needed
• All necessary clearances must be current, or candidates must be willing to obtain them before starting

Preferred Background:

• Experience within school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Familiarity with supporting students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is advantageous but not mandatory
• Reliable, patient, and team-oriented approach highly valued
