Instructional Aide Substitute Opportunities School-Based, Flexible Per Diem

Instructional Aide Substitutes are needed to provide essential one-on-one and small group support in school settings. As an Instructional Aide Substitute, you will:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings
• Work one-on-one or with small groups, following direction from teachers and other school staff
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and encourage meaningful classroom participation
• Help implement behavior support plans and follow individualized education programs (IEPs) as directed
• Aid students with supervision, mobility, and personal care as needed
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all

Requirements for School Compliance:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 18 years of age
• TB test in accordance with district guidelines
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• All required clearances must be current or obtainable prior to starting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT background (helpful, but not required)
• Reliable, positive, and collaborative approach

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
