Per Diem Teacher Aide | Riverside, California

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings
• Deliver 1:1 or small group support as directed by teachers and staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom engagement
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs or accommodations as necessary
• Support with mobility, supervision, and personal care tasks for students with additional needs
• Maintain a respectful, inclusive, and safe classroom environment

Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age: 18 years
• TB test as required by the school
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift as needed
• Up-to-date clearances or willingness to obtain them before starting

Preferred Background:

• Prior experience in education, special education, child care, or behavioral health settings
• Experience with students with special needs, autism spectrum disorders, or behavioral support needs
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT techniques (a plus, not required)
• Positive, patient, and collaborative approach
