Instructional Aide Substitutes are needed for per diem opportunities in a school-based setting located near Riverside, CA. These flexible, as-needed roles are perfect for compassionate individuals eager to make a meaningful impact by providing 1:1 support to students in academic environments.

As an instructional aide substitute, you will:

Responsibilities:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially in various classroom settings
• Provide direct 1:1 or small-group assistance, following the direction of teachers and school staff
• Assist with daily classroom routines, student transitions, and lesson participation
• Implement behavior support strategies and adhere to students IEPs when required
• Help students with mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere for all learners

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Current or willing to obtain district-required TB test
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• School clearances (current or able to be obtained before starting)

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience assisting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training such as CPI, PMT, or RBT is valuable but not required
• Reliable, patient, and a collaborative approach to working within school teams
