Per Diem Teacher's Aide - Rio Vista, California

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver academic, behavioral, and social support in classroom settings
• Provide 1:1 and small group assistance as directed by school staff and teachers
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs when required
• Support mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Willingness to complete a TB test as required by the district
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting if needed
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain them prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT practices (not required, but a plus)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative team player
