Spindle is seeking dedicated School Paraprofessionals to provide one-on-one support to students in school settings near Redwood City, CA. This per diem, as-needed opportunity is perfect for those eager to make a daily impact, as roles are scheduled based on school coverage needs.

Position Responsibilities:

• Offer medical, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Deliver individualized assistance as directed by teachers and staff
• Help students with medical needs, daily routines, classroom participation, and transitions
• Support mobility, provide supervision, and assist with personal care if needed
• Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements (School Compliance):

• Active RN license
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• Current TB test (in accordance with district requirements)
• Capacity to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Up-to-date clearances or willingness to obtain before starting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPR, G-Tube, or Trach experience (a plus, not required)
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative attitude
