Instructional Aide Subs are needed for dynamic, school-based, per diem opportunities in the greater Redding, CA area. As an Instructional Aide, youll play an important part in assisting students academically, socially, and behaviorally. These on-call assignments offer you the flexibility to choose when you work, adapting to your availability and the needs of local schools.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver academic, behavioral, and social support to students individually or in small groups as directed by school staff
• Assist with classroom routines, daily transitions, and participation
• Implement behavior support strategies and follow Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as needed
• Provide supervision, mobility assistance, and personal care support
• Maintain a safe, accountable, and respectful school environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test (in line with district requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and help lift students as necessary
• Willingness to secure all required clearances before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Work in educational, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral concerns
• Additional credentials such as CPI, PMT, or RBT (a bonus, not required)
• Reliable, patient, and strong team player
