Instructional Aide Subs Needed Per Diem Opportunities in Redding, CA

As an Instructional Aide Sub, you will provide essential 1:1 or small group support to students within classroom settings, assisting teachers and school staff to foster academic, behavioral, and social growth.

Location: School setting in Redding, CA
Position Type: Per Diem (as-needed basis with flexible shifts depending on school coverage needs)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized academic and behavioral support to students
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, and participation in classroom activities
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as applicable
• Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as required
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Compliance with TB testing and any other school district health requirements
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Clearances must be current or obtained prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience working with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Certifications such as CPI, PMT, or RBT are a plus, but not mandatory
• Reliability, patience, and a collaborative attitude
