In this dynamic and rewarding role, youll:

Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classrooms
• Offer 1:1 or small-group assistance following guidance from teachers and school staff
• Help students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation in activities
• Carry out behavior support plans and follow IEPs as instructed
• Support students mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for all learners

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum age 18
• TB test as mandated by local school policy
• Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a school, special education, behavioral health, or child care setting
• Background working with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT practices (a plus, but not required)
• Dependable, patient, and communicative approach to teamwork
