Per Diem Instructional Aide - Red Bluff, CA

What Youll Do:

• Offer academic, behavioral, and social assistance to students in collaboration with teachers and school staff
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group support, helping students succeed in daily classroom activities
• Assist with routine transitions, fostering participation and engagement
• Follow behavior support plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as required
• Support students mobility, provide supervision, and help with personal care when needed
• Cultivate a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years or older
• Current TB test (or willingness to obtain per district guidance)
• Ability to assist with standing, walking, and lifting as needed
• Cleared background checks and school-required screenings (current or in progress)

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care environments
• Background assisting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training is advantageous but not mandatory
• A reliable, patient approach and collaborative attitude
