Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 or small-group academic and behavioral support under guidance from teachers and staff
• Assist students with daily routines, classroom participation, and transitions
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) when applicable
• Support supervision, mobility, and personal care needs of students
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Ability to complete TB testing and meet school district compliance prior to starting
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain before beginning the assignment

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT methods is a plus but not required
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative team member
