Compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistants (PCA) and Instructional Aides (IA) are needed to assist students who may have a range of disabilities and behavioral challenges. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized assistance to students with special needs
• Help with daily living activities, including toileting, feeding, personal hygiene, and mobility
• Support educational goals and behavior intervention plans (IEPs & BIPs)
• Reinforce classroom lessons and assist with academic assignments
• Monitor and encourage positive behavior
• Maintain a supportive, structured, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Supervise transitions, routines, lunch, and recess periods
• Keep records of student progress and effectively communicate with school staff

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain and sustain PA clearances: Act 34 Criminal History, Act 151 Child Abuse, FBI Fingerprint, Act 168 Sexual Misconduct/Abuse, and Mandated Reporter Training
• Comfort assisting with physical and personal care
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and professionalism
• Adaptability to different school settings and working independently

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience as a PCA, Paraprofessional, DSP, Teachers Aide, or Behavioral Health Technician
• Background working with children with autism, developmental disabilities, or in special education settings
• Familiarity with ABA, behavior management, or classroom support
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
