As an Instructional Aide Substitute, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting students academically, behaviorally, and socially within the classroom
• Providing attentive 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by teachers or school staff
• Assisting students with daily routines, classroom participation, and transitions between activities
• Implementing behavior support plans and following IEPs as needed
• Ensuring the safety, supervision, and mobility needs of students, including providing personal care when appropriate
• Maintaining a positive, inclusive, and respectful atmosphere for all learners

To qualify for this meaningful opportunity, youll need:

• A high school diploma or GED
• Be at least 18 years old
• Recent TB test (or willingness to comply with district requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting students as needed
• Current required clearances or willingness to obtain them

Preferred experience includes:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training (a plus, but not required)
• A dependable, patient, and collaborative approach
