Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 or small group assistance under teacher and staff direction
• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially in classroom settings
• Assist with daily routines, classroom participation, and transitions
• Implement behavior support plans, following IEPs as necessary
• Aid with student mobility, supervision, and personal care requirements
• Maintain a respectful, inclusive, and safe classroom environment

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age: 18
• TB test (per district requirements)
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care environments
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT exposure (helpful, but not required)
• Dependable, patient, and positive team player
