School Paraprofessional Subs Needed Per Diem Assignments

As an Instructional Aide Substitute, you will work hands-on to help students thrive academically, behaviorally, and sociallywhether assisting 1:1 or supporting small groups as directed by teachers and school staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with classroom participation, daily routines, and transitions
• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support, including implementation of behavior plans and IEPs
• Offer supervision, mobility, and personal care support when needed
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• TB test per district requirements (current or able to obtain)
• Able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Willing to provide all necessary clearances prior to start

Preferred Experience:

• Background in a school, special education, behavioral health, or child care setting
• Experience with students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus (not required)
• Reliable, patient, adaptable, and a collaborative team player
