Key Responsibilities:

• Provide both academic and behavioral support to students in classroom settings
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by teachers and staff
• Assist with daily routines, classroom transitions, and active participation
• Implement and follow behavior support plans and individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Support students with mobility, supervision, and, when appropriate, personal care needs
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Successful completion of a TB test in accordance with school standards
• Capability to stand, walk, and assist with physical lifting as needed
• Current school clearances or willingness to obtain prior to start date

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT methodologies (not required but a plus)
• Demonstrated reliability, patience, and ability to collaborate as part of a team
