Per Diem Teacher's Aide - Palmdale, California

Instructional Aide Substitute opportunities are now available for positive, motivated individuals interested in supporting students in a dynamic school environment. These per diem, as-needed positions provide flexibility and the chance to make an immediate impact in students lives while gaining valuable school-based experience. Youll work closely with students 1:1 or in small groups, partnering with teachers and school staff to foster success across a variety of classroom settings.

What You'll Do:

• Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially in classroom environments
• Provide individualized or small-group support as directed by educators
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Follow and implement behavior support plans, including IEPs as applicable
• Aid with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as necessary
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, respectful, and welcoming atmosphere for all learners

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test as required by local school guidelines
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Willingness to complete all required clearances before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience working in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT certification is a plus, but not required
• Demonstrated reliability, patience, and ability to collaborate effectively with others

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
