Responsibilities:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially in classroom settings
• Provide individualized or small-group assistance as assigned by teachers or school staff
• Facilitate daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation for students
• Follow and implement behavior support plans as well as Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), when applicable
• Assist students with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Maintain an inclusive, respectful, and safe classroom environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years old
• TB test meeting district standards
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Ability to secure all required clearances prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in education, childcare, special education, or behavioral health settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT procedures (not required)
• Dependability, patience, and a collaborative spirit
