School Paraprofessional Needed Flexible Per Diem

In this rewarding role, youll provide critical 1:1 support to K-12 studentsoffering medical, behavioral, and social assistance within classroom settings. Shifts are available based on school coverage needs, giving you the flexibility to accept assignments that best fit your schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students behavioral, social, and medical needs alongside teachers and school staff
• Assist with daily routines, classroom transitions, participation, and personal care as needed
• Provide mobility, supervision, and individualized support to ensure student safety and inclusion
• Foster a respectful, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment
• Follow all school compliance and safety protocols

Requirements:

• Active RN license required
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Recent TB test (per district standards)
• Physical ability to assist with standing, walking, and lifting as needed
• All clearances updated or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, child care, or behavioral health
• Experience working with students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Bonus: CPR, G-Tube, or Trach experience (not required)
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative team player

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
