Instructional Aide substitutes are needed to help support students in a dynamic, school-based environment near Painted Post, NY. Key Responsibilities:

• Offer academic, behavioral, and social support to students in various classroom environments.
• Provide direct assistance on a 1:1 basis or in small groups as guided by school staff.
• Help with daily student routines, classroom transitions, and engagement activities.
• Follow and implement behavior support plans and adhere to students IEPs as directed.
• Offer support with mobility, supervision, and personal care when needed.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere for all students.

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• TB test in compliance with school district protocols.
• Willingness and ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting duties.
• Clearance background checks requiredmust be current or attainable before starting.

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings.
• Experience working with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges is beneficial.
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training a plus (but not required).
• Strong reliability, patience, and a collaborative attitude.
