In this role, you will:

• Assist students both academically and behaviorally in classroom settings
• Provide one-on-one or small-group support as directed by teachers and staff
• Help students navigate daily routines, classroom activities, and transitions
• Follow and implement behavior support plans and IEPs where needed
• Offer help with mobility, supervision, and personal care tasks
• Maintain an inclusive, safe, and respectful environment for all students

Requirements for school compliance:

• High school diploma or GED
• 18 years of age or older
• Tuberculosis screening as per district standards
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Up-to-date clearances (or willingness to obtain prior to beginning work)

Preferred skills and background:

• Experience in educational, child care, or behavioral health settings
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training is a plus, though not mandatory
• Reliable and patient with a collaborative approach
