As a School Paraprofessional, youll provide vital one-on-one assistance to students with medical, behavioral, and social needs, alongside engaging with teachers and school staff to foster a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students medically, behaviorally, and socially in classroom settings
• Offer dedicated 1:1 assistance as directed by teachers and staff
• Assist students with medical needs, daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Help with mobility, personal care, and supervision throughout the school day
• Maintain an inclusive, respectful, and safe environment for all students

School Compliance Requirements:

• Active RN license
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• Current TB test (per district requirement)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist in lifting
• Up-to-date clearances (or willingness to obtain prior to start)

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral concerns
• CPR, G-Tube, or Trach experience is a plus (not required)
• Dependable, patient, and team-oriented outlook
