Per Diem Special Education Paraprofessional in Ontario, CA

What Youll Do:

• Support students medically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings
• Deliver personalized, 1:1 assistance as directed by teachers and school staff
• Assist students with medical needs, daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Provide help with mobility, supervision, and personal care
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements for School Compliance:

• Active RN license
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Valid TB test (in accordance with district guidelines)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Current, cleared background checks or willingness to obtain them before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPR, G-Tube, or Trach experience (not required but beneficial)
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative attitude
