Per Diem Instructional Assistant - Olivehurst, CA

What You'll Do:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Work closely with teachers and school staff to assist students as needed, both 1:1 and in small groups
• Help with daily routines, classroom participation, and smooth transitions
• Implement and track behavior support plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Support students mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as directed
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all
• Foster positive relationships and encourage student engagement

What We Require:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift as needed
• Current TB test (or willingness to obtain per school requirements)
• Ability to secure all required background clearances before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work in education, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Exposure to CPI, PMT, or RBT techniques is valued, but not required
• A reliable, patient, and team-oriented approach

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
