Per Diem Teacher Assistant | Oceanside, California

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting students with daily classroom participation and transitions
• Supporting learning objectives as directed by teachers and staff
• Implementing behavior plans and helping maintain positive classroom environments
• Providing supervision, mobility, and personal care assistance where required
• Fostering a safe, inclusive, and encouraging atmosphere for all students

To qualify, you will need:

• A high school diploma or GED
• Be at least 18 years old
• Ability to obtain a TB test (per district requirements)
• Capacity to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Up-to-date background clearances, or willingness to obtain before starting

Preferred experience includes previous work in school settings, behavioral health, childcare, or with students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges. Experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a bonus but not required. Most importantly, you bring reliability, patience, and a team-focused attitude.
