Per Diem Teacher's Aide - Oceanside, California

As an Instructional Aide sub, you will:

• Provide direct support to students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom environments
• Offer 1:1 or small-group assistance, guided by teachers and school staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and overall classroom engagement
• Follow and implement behavior support plans or IEPs as directed
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
• Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere for all learners

Minimum requirements for school compliance include:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• TB test (specific to district)
• Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting when necessary
• Willingness to complete or update clearances as needed before starting

Preferred candidates will bring experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings. Experience with students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges is highly valued. CPI, PMT, or RBT certification is a plus but not required. Reliability, patience, and a collaborative spirit are essential.
