Per Diem Paraprofessional in Oceanside, CA

Instructional Aide Subs are needed to provide invaluable 1:1 and small-group support for students in classroom environments. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students academically, socially, and behaviorally under the direction of teachers and school staff
• Provide individualized support, including implementing behavior plans and following IEPs as needed
• Help students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation in activities
• Support mobility, provide supervision, and assist with personal care needs as required
• Maintain a respectful, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Recent TB test (per district guidelines)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
• Willingness to secure or update required clearances prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training/experience is a plus but not required
• Patient, dependable, and collaborative approach
