We are seeking dedicated individuals to work as School Paraprofessional Substitutes, providing vital 1:1 and small group support to students in a school-based environment. These per diem, flexible positions give you the opportunity to assist students as needed, allowing you to accept assignments that fit your schedule. What youll do:

  • Support students academic, behavioral, and social development within classroom settings
  • Work closely with teachers and staff to provide personalized 1:1 or small-group assistance
  • Help students with classroom routines, transitions, and participation
  • Follow behavior support plans and implement IEP strategies when applicable
  • Offer supervision, mobility assistance, and support personal care needs
  • Foster a safe and inclusive learning space for all students

Required qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Current TB test (per district standards)
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
  • Willingness to obtain all necessary clearances prior to starting

Preferred experience:

  • Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
  • Experience with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
  • CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials a plus (not required)
  • A patient, reliable, and team-oriented approach
