Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in classroom environments academically, behaviorally, and socially
• Follow guidance from teachers and staff to deliver individualized assistance
• Assist with students daily routines, transitions, and active classroom participation
• Support the implementation of behavior support plans and IEPs as needed
• Help ensure student safety, mobility, supervision, and, when necessary, personal care
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere for all learners

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age: 18
• TB test compliance as per district standards
• Physical capability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Up-to-date clearances or willingness to obtain them prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in a school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare setting
• Experience with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT practices
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
