Per Diem Paraeducator in Oceanside, CA

Instructional Aide Substitutes are needed to provide essential support to students in school settings near Oceanside, CA, with flexible per diem opportunities available. These positions offer a chance to make a genuine difference in students lives while working in a collaborative, school-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students academically, socially, and behaviorally within classrooms
• Provide 1:1 or small-group assistance as guided by teachers and staff
• Help students navigate daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as needed
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care requirements
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all

Essential Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• TB clearance as required by the school district
• Ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting when necessary
• Must have or be willing to obtain all necessary school clearances before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus (not required)
• Reliable, patient, and able to work collaboratively
