What Youll Do:

• Support students 1:1 or in small groups academically, socially, and behaviorally under the guidance of teachers and staff
• Assist with classroom routines, transitions, and encourage active participation in learning activities
• Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior support strategies where indicated
• Provide assistance with mobility, supervision, and personal care tasks for students as necessary
• Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom setting

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age
• Ability to obtain and maintain current TB test and required clearances prior to start
• Physically able to stand, walk, and lift or assist as needed for student support
• Willingness to follow compliance guidelines set by schools

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care environments
• Experience working with children who have special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training in CPI, PMT, or RBT methods is a plus, but not required
• Patience, reliability, and a collaborative approach are essential
