Job Description

You'll play a vital role supporting students academically, behaviorally, and socially. Your daily responsibilities may include:
What You'll Do:
- Deliver 1:1 or small-group support as directed by teachers and staff
- Assist with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
- Implement behavioral strategies and IEP plans when applicable
- Help with supervision, mobility, or personal care as assigned
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Current TB test (per district guidelines)
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
- Up-to-date clearances or willingness to obtain them
Preferred Experience:
- Background in school settings, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
- Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT practices (not mandatory)
- A collaborative, patient, and reliable approach
