Spindle is seeking compassionate and dedicated Instructional Aides to provide 1:1 support to students within school settings. These per diem, as-needed roles offer flexible assignments, making them ideal for professionals who want to positively impact students academic and social development while maintaining schedule flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom environments
• Assist teachers and school staff by offering 1:1 or small-group help tailored to student needs
• Support students with daily routines, transitions, and active participation in class activities
• Implement behavior support plans and adhere to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as required
• Aid with mobility, supervision, and personal care tasks to ensure student safety and comfort
• Help maintain an inclusive, respectful, and safe learning environment for all students

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Pass required TB test and maintain necessary clearances consistent with school district policies
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in special education, behavioral health, child care, or school environments
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training or certifications such as CPI, PMT, or RBT are beneficial but not required
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative with a team-oriented approach
