Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to students academically, socially, and behaviorally within classrooms
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance following teacher or staff guidance
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, and encourage classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs, when required
• Support mobility, supervision, and help with personal care as needed
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment where all students can thrive

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• TB test as required by the district
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Active or obtainable clearances prior to starting assignments

Preferred Background:

• Past experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience a plus
• Demonstrated reliability, patience, and the ability to collaborate with others
