Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored academic, behavioral, and social support to students within the classroom
• Assist students individually or in small groups as guided by teachers and staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and active classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Assist with personal care tasks, mobility, and provide supervision as needed
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Current or ability to obtain TB test and all required clearances
• Previous experience in schools, behavioral health, special education, or child care preferred
• Experience with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges is a plus
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training helpful but not required
• Reliability, patience, and a collaborative attitude
