Flexible Instructional Aide Substitute Positions School-Based, Per Diem

Instructional Aide substitutes are needed to provide essential one-on-one support for students in classrooms. These as-needed, per diem roles offer flexibility and the chance to make a direct impact in a structured educational environment. Responsibilities:

• Assist students academically, socially, and behaviorally under the direction of teachers and staff
• Provide individualized or small-group support, helping with classroom routines and participation
• Support behavior management plans and follow IEP goals where applicable
• Aid with mobility, supervision, and, when needed, personal care
• Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• TB test completed according to district standards
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as required
• Current background clearances or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Work experience in school settings, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training a plus (not required)
• A reliable, patient, and team-oriented attitude
