Per Diem Paraprofessional in Newberry Springs, CA

In this position, you will:

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group academic, behavioral, and social support in classroom settings
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, and active classroom participation
• Support students by following behavior plans and IEPs as directed
• Supervise and facilitate mobility and personal care as required
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test and clearances as required (must be current or obtained prior to start)
• Ability to stand, walk, and offer physical assistance as needed
• Strong communication skills and reliability

Preferred Experience

• Work experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is valued but not required
• Patient, team-oriented, and compassionate mindset
