Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support for students in classroom environments
• Assist students one-on-one or in small groups under the direction of teachers and school staff
• Help students with daily routines, classroom participation, and transitions throughout the day
• Implement behavior support strategies and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as needed
• Support students mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as required
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to provide a current TB test (per district guidelines)
• Capacity to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
• Willingness to obtain or update required clearances prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in education, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT knowledge is an asset (not required)
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative attitude
