Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support for students in classroom environments
• Offer one-on-one or small-group assistance, following direction from teachers and school staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement behavioral support plans and adhere to IEPs when appropriate
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age
• TB test in accordance with district guidelines
• Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally assist with lifting
• Current clearances, or willingness to obtain required clearances prior to starting

Preferred Background:

• Previous experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT methods is a plus (not required)
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative approach
