Per Diem Teacher's Aide - Naperville, Illinois

What Youll Do:

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment through academic, behavioral, and social support
• Assist students with daily routines, classroom participation, and transitions
• Work closely with teachers and staff to follow Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior support plans
• Provide supervision, support mobility, and, when needed, assist with personal care
• Ensure safety and respect for all students at all times

Key Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED and at least 18 years old
• Ability to obtain school district clearances and recent TB test (or willing to complete them prior to starting)
• Ability to stand, walk, and provide lifting assistance as required

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus but not mandatory
• Patient, reliable, and collaborative approach to teamwork

Compensation for this position ranges from $19.42 to $30.42. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
