What Youll Do:

  • Provide essential academic, behavioral, and social support to students throughout the school day
  • Assist learners individually or in small groups, following teachers guidance and school protocols
  • Help students with daily classroom routines, smooth transitions, and ongoing participation
  • Implement behavior support strategies and follow IEPs when required
  • Offer mobility support, supervision, and personal care as needed
  • Contribute to creating an encouraging, respectful learning environment for all students

To Qualify, Youll Need:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum age: 18 years
  • TB test (per local requirements)
  • Ability to actively assist students, including standing, walking, and supporting lifting tasks
  • Current background clearances or willingness to obtain them
    Preferred Experience:
  • Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
  • PEL License
  • Experience with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral concerns
  • Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT techniques (helpful but not required)
  • Patient, reliable, and collaborative team approach
