What Youll Do:

• Provide direct support to students, offering academic assistance and fostering positive behaviors
• Help implement instructional and behavior plans under the direction of teaching staff
• Assist students with classroom participation, daily routines, transitions, and mobility as needed
• Supervise and support students personal care and safety
• Maintain an inclusive, respectful atmosphere for all learners

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age: 18 years
• TB test (per district requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as required
• Current or attainable clearances per school guidelines

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience welcomed but not required
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative mindset
