Position Responsibilities:

• Provide direct 1:1 support to students in the classroom, following guidance from teachers and school staff
• Assist with students medical, behavioral, and daily routine needs
• Support classroom participation, transitions between activities, and mobility needs
• Ensure personal care and supervision are delivered in a respectful, supportive manner
• Maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment for all students

Essential Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting as required
• TB test (in accordance with district requirements)
• Willingness to obtain and maintain necessary clearances prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in education, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Knowledge of CPR, G-Tube, or tracheostomy care (a plus, not required)
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative personality
