School Paraprofessional Subs Needed School-Based | Flexible Opportunities

Spindle is seeking dedicated Instructional Aides to provide essential 1:1 support for students in a structured school environment. These per diem, as-needed roles offer flexible shifts matched to school coverage needsideal for compassionate professionals eager to make a meaningful difference in students daily lives.

Responsibilities:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classrooms
• Provide 1:1 or small-group assistance as assigned by teachers and staff
• Assist with daily routines, transitions between activities, and classroom engagement
• Follow and implement behavior support plans and IEPs when needed
• Support students mobility, supervision, and personal care requirements
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere for all learners

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• TB test, in accordance with district standards
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Willingness to obtain school clearances prior to starting

Preferred Background:

• Experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT techniques (a plus, not required)
• Dependable, patient, and team-oriented approach
