Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support to students academically, behaviorally, and socially
• Deliver 1:1 or small group assistance under the guidance of teachers and school staff
• Assist with daily routines, classroom participation, and smooth transitions
• Implement and follow individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior support plans as needed
• Aid in mobility, supervision, and personal care tasks for students
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• TB test required in accordance with district guidelines
• Ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting where necessary
• Willingness to obtain necessary clearances before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Direct work in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience with special needs, autism, or behavioral/mental health supports
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training (not required, but a plus)
• Patient, reliable, and collaborative approach
