Key Responsibilities:

• Foster academic, social, and behavioral growth for students in classroom settings
• Provide individualized or small-group assistance under the guidance of teachers and staff
• Help students with routines, transitions, and active classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEP guidance
• Offer mobility support, supervision, and personal care as needed
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Completion of TB test (per district guidelines)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience valued (not required)
• Demonstrated reliability, patience, and teamwork
